German 2013 Frankfurt auto show is a place where more than thousand carmakers are displaying their latest developments. One gets to see there a car for three million dollars. A Californian billionaire Elon Musk is owner of the Tesla Motors Inc., a producer of the electric cars and a luxury car competitor. The company has shops in Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Munich. The last one is the home town of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG. Tesla is currently opening two new sales places in Germany: in Berlin and Stuttgart. The last one is a home town of Daimler AG (featuring Mercedes-Benz).
Tesla is famous for its electric cars. Today, German Giants are going electric as well and selling from thousands of shops throughout the Germany. In this rivalry Tesla is fighting for more customers on the foreign territory. Bryan Batista, Tesla’s sales director for Europe is sure that there is a place in the market for his company beside the giants such as BMW, Daimler or Audi.
This week International Auto Show took place in Frankfurt, Germany. Car-giants have come up with interesting new developments. BMW has introduced i8 plug-in hybrid and i3 battery vehicle. Volkswagen AG has introduced two new cars: A3 plug-in hybrid by Audi and 918 Spyder hybrid by Porsche. The former can travel fifty kilometers on electric drive and the latter costs eight-hundred forty-five thousand dollars. Mercedes has launched an electric SLS and announced an electric B-class compact car which will be ready for sale next year.
